Assignment # 6

The famous black canadian that I chose to do is Hockey superstar Jerome Iginla. Jerome Iginla plays in the nhl which stands for National Hockey League. Jerome was born July 1 1977 in Edmenton Alberta. Jerome Iginla is the team captain for the Calgary Flames and was first drafted in 1995 and played for the Dallas Stars but was then later traded to the Calgary Flames and spent the rest of his carrer playing with Calgary. Jerome helped lead Canada to gold in the 2002 winter Olympic games and it was a great win for Canada. In 1996 Jerome was called the player of the year for the western part of Canada and in 2001-02 he won the Lester B Pearson award for leading the nhl with points and goals Jerome Iginla is one of my favourite Hockey players in the nhl and I kinda like the Flames. Jerome had one of the highest score rates ever he once scored 50 goals in a season and for every goal Jerome get's he donates 2ooo dollars to charity and that's one of the things I like about him and the black canadian I chose is Jerome Iginla hope u comment on it i would b happy. assignment #5 winter survival

It must of been hard to survive back then in the winter times with out the stuff we have today I mean they had animals they had to care about so they would'nt die out in the cold and they had to be able to have shelter to survive and some people did'nt have shelter they most likley looked for fire wood and stuff to maybe make a quick shelter. Some people like farmers had to care about there farm land during winter like cutting down the trees they did'nt need and they had to do all this during the winter and I feel sorry for them having to do all this during freezing tempratures care for there animals so they don't die care about the land so it does'nt get ruined people had to make fire find wood in the cold which was hard and try to find shelter and I'm glad that we have all this today shelter food warm places to get warm and people have shelter for there animals.

I have watched both the videos on Martin Luther King Junior and they were very interesting I thought they were great the one I really liked is the one that the Elementary School made. Martin Luthers words made me feel like I should alwys respect everybody it does'nt matter what religion you are or what the colour of your skin is everbody is the same on the inside we are all humans. They made me feel this way becuase the words in his speech were strong and I some how got this feeling I dont know why but I'm glad. I thought they did a very good job on the video there acting was great and I really liked the way the acted as faomous well kown African American people. I can do what ever I want as long as I put my mind to it and what ever my dream is I can do it know one can tell me I can't.

I read christiphor Moores blog and liked it alot I found it very interesting to read and what I think is going to happen in the year 2109 is that the world will change better technology all new cars that are made better posibly choas in some parts of the world and the world will soon be in choas in the year 2109 for sure but i'm not sure if i'll be alive then the only way i would be alive is if i'm healthy and live to be 100 years old
